Unfortunately the new management has dropped the ball and this community is no longer worth staying in. Maintenance requests go ignored and they charged me more than my lease rent for two months and keep making excuse after excuse about when theyll refund me the overcharged amount.

I regret to say that I cannot recommend anyone to move into The Kathryn, especially under its new management, Greystar. My experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel obligated to share my grievances to prevent others from facing similar issues.
First and foremost, the management at Greystar has shown a blatant disregard for tenant concerns and complaints. Despite numerous attempts to reach out regarding various issues within the apartment complex, including maintenance problems and disturbances caused by other residents, the management has consistently failed to respond or take any meaningful action.
One of the most frustrating aspects of living here is the lack of control over disruptions caused by unruly children. It seems that children are allowed to do as they please, regardless of the impact on other residents' lives. The presence of basketball goals on the property has led to constant noise and disturbances, with children playing at all hours of the day and night. This not only disrupts the peace and quiet of the community but also interferes with the ability of residents, like myself, who work from home, to concentrate and perform our jobs effectively.
What's particularly distressing is the management's apparent indifference to these issues. Despite multiple complaints from residents about the disturbances caused by the basketball goals, the management has failed to address the problem or enforce any rules or regulations to mitigate the disruptions.
In conclusion, my experience with Greystar as the new management of The Kathryn has been utterly disappointing. From their lack of responsiveness to tenant concerns to their disregard for maintaining a peaceful living environment, it is evident that they prioritize profit over the well-being and satisfaction of their residents. I strongly advise anyone considering moving here to look elsewhere for a more accommodating and respectful living environment.

7/17 - received a check in the mail. Check was dated 7/1. Envelope post stamped 7/14. Never received a call back or an email or anything saying they were sending a check.
I never got my deposit refunded
I wanted to live here but they never processed my application. So on June 14th I asked them to cancel my application and refund the $500 deposit. I have requested a status on the refund every week since JUNE 14th, it is JULY 14th and I still don't have a refund and have not received a status since JUNE 14th when they said they would cancel my application and refund my money. Ive called and emailed every week since JUNE 14TH and haven't received one response. They are very friendly yet incompetent people. There's absolutely no follow through with commitment, and piss poor communication. I doubt I'll ever get my money back so essentially they stole $500 from me. Bad business.
