Pros: Almost everything.
Con: Rent.
I rented here for two years. Nice place, well equiped. Dropped rent during the pandemic to purchase a home. Checked back in on their prices 8 months later and rent is up $500. Insane, just consider a house.

I love living at the village at apison pike! Such a great, quiet, clean atmosphere. Dog friendly! Anthony is very nice and had such a super quick turn around with his work order!

We have lived here 3 months while we are waiting for delays in our house being built. It was nice that they have short term lease options, although I wish there wasn’t a 60-day notice policy for leaving. Other places I have lived only needed 30 days and that is in areas where the rental market is slower than here.
Overall it’s been a good option! Mostly friendly staff, clean, modern, well maintained. Some nice amenities: pool, fitness room, community room with coffee and popcorn, business center. For the price of rent (hundreds more than what our new house that is over 3x the size will cost) it would be nice if it were more secure. Basically anyone can walk in. It hasn’t been a problem as far as I can tell, but the apartments right before these have better gates, you can’t just walk in. It would also be nice if in addition to a dog park they had a small park area for kids, there are many families with young kids.
Biggest complaint is that they constantly need to be coming in to inspect things… first it was the dryer vent. A few weeks later it was something for insurance or their financing(?), this week it was to check smoke detectors and air filters, and now I get another email that they are coming to inspect again next week for seemingly no legit reason… just to see what improvements they can make or something like that. Then when we gave our notice to be leaving, we have to schedule yet another inspection before AND after. Super annoying if you work at home… the last time I didn’t even hear them knock (no tv or radio even going), so I was startled when they just opened the door. Why not just combine a few things, is it really necessary to be randomly coming in every few weeks??? I’ve never had that happen anywhere else. Thankfully we don’t have pets, or we would have to worry about them each time!
