The office staff is here to help you navigate the policies and procedures of your lease. They don't set these policies, but they do have to implement them. Hi Mike!We don't try to screw anyone over nor can we with the legal agreements we sign with our residents. We do not take advantage of "naïve college students"; anytime a first time renters come to us, we ask them if they have any questions or if they would like a example lease to read over prior to them signing. We now doing all leasing via email now where our residents can take their time and read over the lease, share with with whomever they want and ask us questions. We have never and would never take advantage of anyone. We don't want to force someone into something they don't want to and then argue with them down the road, that would just create problems for us.Per your comment about us lying about not being affiliated with the school, that is just a fact. We are a private business that is not owned or a part of SRU.If you are having trouble with paying rent due to COVID, please contact us.We are sure this rating is in response to the renewal that was just signed with 3 people on it. You reached out to us about re-signing with just 3 roommates and we were truthful with you that if you sign with just 3, you MUST find a roommate by 8/1/21 or the rent for the 4th room's rent would be divided among the 3 of you that re-signed. This is also clearly explained in the lease. You still chose to sign a lease, knowing this. This was a choice you made on your own. We also offered you a solution to resolve this issue and you never responded to us. I'm not sure what more we could have done.If you have any further questions, please contact the office.
