I spent three years living with Off Penn Properties, and had a great experience. The apartment was excellent, in terms of how it was equipped and maintained, and also in terms of access to amenities in University City, and West Philly more broadly. The landlord Eapen Kalathil was extremely responsive to any issues that arose, often arriving within an hour or two. Any problems, of which there were not many, were resolved quickly, and there were no shenanigans about trying to make me cover the costs. He was also very understanding and flexible regarding some issues I had when I moved out, and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a professional, efficient and personable landlord.

I have lived with Off Penn Properties for 9 years and been extremely happy with my experience. The apartments are clean and spacious with excellent proximity to universities and shopping while being far enough away from center city to be quieter. Eapen has been nothing but an amazing landlord. He is very responsive to issues, very reasonable with rent, and flexible with questions and needs that have come up over the years. More than anything he cares for his residents and the properties and it shows. I would highly recommend anyone looking for housing in university city to check out Off Penn Properties!
