        The Metropolitan apartments once upon a time were a great place to live and run by a competent management team. However, the company changed roughly a year ago to GY properties and they have systematically destroyed everything that once made this building special. They are slow to respond to service issues and want everything done through data stealing apps. They can't keep the elevators running. They Airbnb the once secured building. Would recommend living somewhere else.

        Management company changed to GY last year so most reviews are irrelevant to the new management of the building. Ever since GY took over Ive had more problems than ever. If youre looking for an apartment building that constantly lets random people in the building either through air bnb in several units or community hey day sports coming and going all the time, lets ceiling leaks that keep you up throughout the night for weeks without resolution, ignores multiple maintenance requests that they never fully resolve, was aware apartment below had cockroach infestation but did not give preventive maintenance or warning to our apartment, gives unfinished promises of amenities but higher rent, has no community events for residents, and hardly ever has 2 working elevators for the 24 floors of apartments they have then this is the place for you, if not Id say look at other places!

        My fiance has MS and sometimes struggles moving from place to place. Every time we have arrived at the Met, the staff immediately notices her cane and immediately jumps into action as if she was the only person there. They immediately find a comfortable ADA section regardless of our previously purchased seating. Amazing staff

The specific unit with the problem has been treated, and we are committed to maintaining a pest-free environment.Amenities: We would like to clarify that additions to amenities have been delayed due to weather conditions. Roof work, in particular, cannot be conducted during the wet season, and we are committed to implementing these additions in the upcoming spring.Elevator Issues: The building, being old and historic, may face occasional elevator malfunctions. We acknowledge the inconvenience caused and want to assure you that the delays are often due to challenges in obtaining parts from manufacturers. We are actively working to minimize such delays and improve the overall elevator performance.Your concerns are valid, and we're actively working to improve.
