If I could leave a no star review, I would. My experience with MNT performance run by Shawn has been nothing short of empty promises and a complete waste of my time. I brought my vehicle to him for a "Professional" dyno tune the first week of January 2023. Tuning issues Since picking up my car I have experienced nothing but issues. - Consistently dying at idle AND DRIVING - Idle RPM surging from 350rpm-1700rpm -Check engine lights (various codes) -Car smoking heavily on startup (Photo attached, My car is catless but before this tune it has NEVER looked like this) -And an array of other issues Customer service Upon picking up my car the first time, I paid for his service in full. Since approaching Shawn with the many tuning issues, my car has not been a priority since he has already received payment in full. Shawn has had my vehicle a total of 6 times for a combined time of roughly 3 weeks of my car in his possession. Which is absolutely ridiculous considering it was there for minor tuning adjustments. At one point in time, MNT had my data logs for 6 weeks before they attempted to adjust my tune while my car would consistently die at Idle (This is my only vehicle and is my daily). I had to follow up multiple times a week and twist arms to remind them about the issues I was having regarding that version of the tune. It was later disclosed to me that instead of him making tuning adjustments himself, he sent my files to someone else as a project for them to work on. Shawn had promised many deadlines on tuning and getting my car "right". Each time I have taken my vehicle to him it has been on a set time and day that we both agreed on so I can have the vehicle back the same day or next day. I have been extremely patient and respectful as I understand how business works and the human error that can occur when it comes to tuning. But I have had enough with this company and will never bring my vehicle there again. My last experience goes as follows. I dropped my car off on a friday (An agreed upon day) to have my car tuned. I told them I needed it done by Sunday evening as this car is my only source of transportation and was needed for work on monday. (keep in mind this is my 6th time dropping my car off and I was told by the lady at the desk "It will be done when it is done") When dropping my car off I asked the lady at the desk to speak to Shawn to discuss the problems my car has continued to have. She refused to grab him because she openly told me that they were in an argument and she didn't want to deal with him because he was in a bad mood. I had not received any communication from him all weekend and I decided to use my second key and just pick up my car on Sunday evening. Which not to my surprise was still in the parking lot untouched. This has been the most unprofessional experience I have ever had with a performance shop and never felt so unvalued as a customer. This company was nothing but empty promises and while their prices might seem appealing, the easiest way to explain their business is "You get what you pay for."

Stay away from this place. Had 1 injector replaced on a d max they charged $2000. Truck sat there for a month before they could work on it.
