Days Inn by Wyndham Lexington

Friendly & accommodating staff. The buildings and rooms just smell like cigarette smoke. We tried 2 different rooms then decided to just leave. I believe this is more of a long term stay place that people live in. Rooms were not as clean as they should be.

Days Inn by Wyndham Lexington was one of the BEST hotels I have stayed in and that says a lot because I travel a lot. I am comparing this hotel to at least 100 others, which were much more expensive, by the way. Most impressive was the size of the room and the cleanliness. It was absolutely perfect. It even had a microwave in the room and two large queen size beds. In my opinion perfect all around. The breakfast was also way beyond my expectations- full continental with four kinds of juices to choose from, a huge choice as far as savory and sweet dishes. All hot and delicious coffee to top it all off with. All the above- literarily 10 out of 10 score for an amazing price. I will be returning shortly.

I meant to change the rating before I exited my review after I thought about it, however I was very tired and overlooked it. Great value/ nice rooms. Rooms: Nice smelling and clean with everything stocked. Walkability: Days Inn at this large location yet easy to walk with a pleasant forestry in view. There are several corridors at different staircases and therefore the office, restaurant and pool are close. Food & drinks: The breakfast was the best part of my three night stay by a long shot. The cook Haley was amazing! Days Inn has one of the best breakfasts among other chains with many options. Delicious, hot food served with a smile Noteworthy details: During my three night stay I had to change rooms twice on two different floors due to the outdated lock system that goes dead is not user friendly at all. The lobby staff were overwhelmed due to a vacant manager position.

Easy to find. Convenient location for us. Within walking distance to lots of food choices. Room was outdated and needs a face-lift. That being said, it was quiet and clean. The towels and linens were clean, the shower was hot, and the desk clerks were pleasant. One mattress had some sprung springs, so I had to move to the other bed for fear of falling off the edge. The other bed was very firm. The pillows were very small.
