Rooms: The room had a poor renovation. The shower enclosure had a nice sliding glass door but it didn't close because either the door or the wall was out of plum. The ceiling had water damage and the sliding door didn't open all the way because it stop was set 4 in from the wall

I was here on business, and I enjoyed the king sized bed, as well as two sitting areas. One at the desk, and one with a chair and pillow with a little table for eating or using a laptop. I needed a good budget hotel for the week. It seems like most of the people here during the week are traveling for business. Some of the planning is quirky, like the shower door directly behind the bathroom door, but that wasn't a problem for just one person. There are A LOT of places to eat nearby. I am glad to have a microwave to reheat the food I grab on the way back from work to eat at my leisure (that little table was perfect.) I was not expecting this to be a high end motel. It isn't perfect, but it's clean, and the staff is friendly. (What hotel is exactly perfect, anyway?) Would I stay here again for work? Absolutely! The breakfast isn't any different than a Hilton, either, which I am accustomed to. I would recommend maybe waiting until 8am to start cleaning rooms, though. Or you might be able to ask guests what time they leave for work, if here on business, to ensure quality service to all your guests. If I have to come back for training again for the Salvation Army, I will be back. I enjoyed my quiet time.

Check in process was hassle free. Rooms are clean and pretty nice, the walls are pretty thin and you can hear your neighbors pretty well, through the vent in the bathroom and in general. The door moved when people walked above us on the third floor and you could even hear the wheels from their suitcase. My other problem was the key cards. I booked for three nights. As I was about to check in a guy gets his key card rekeyed. No big deal it happens. But I left and came back a few hours later ours also didn't work. Get it rekeyed no big deal. We get up the next morning leave and come back late again. Key Card doesn't work again. Get it rekeyed. I asked if this happens often the front desk says yes, they time out frequently just stop by the front desk on your way in tomorrow and do it before you go up. Supposedly management knows about this and can't or won't change it. The next day I do just that. The different front desk staff tells me essentially it's my fault, and happens when it's too close to my phone. I frequently stay in hotels and have been on and off for a long time. I know this. I know how key cards work. I have NEVER had this problem with any other hotel. Once at a hotel stay is about normal sometimes it doesn't get programmed right. But to be as condescending as possible to a guest you don't know and never dealt with. I guess I could explain I keep the key card separate from every other card, phone and everything in my purse. Because I have a special pocket for it could be helpful that this isn't my first time ever being a hotel or that I knew that already and your system just doesn't seem to work properly but that's not my job. This room also had a weird puddle forming near the AC after the rain so maybe get maintenance to check room 202 when you get the chance. I'd suggest this hotel if you're okay with dealing with key card issues, want a clean bed and just need a place to sleep but bring earplugs and patience, because I had neither and really wish I had some. Rooms: Clean, thin walls Food & drinks: Breakfast was okay. Nothing special pretty normal. Noteworthy details: Parking sucks if they're full because right now the back door doesn't work to come in and out so you have to walk all the way around.
