U-Haul Moving & Storage at Sharon Rd

Sharon Road West location very good, very clean, very quick and courteous service. I originally made my reservation at Pineville, NC branch via UHaul app. UHaul app kept crashing Fri late afternoon, more than 5 times. When I showed up at Pineville, NC location, they mentioned to me that system took the reservation but did not allocate a truck. Trucks were all gone and I was bumped to the Sharon Road West location. UHaul app very poor quality.

I dropped of the truck in the same condition I had received it but was later charged a $25 "Cleaning fee" for not folding the moving blankets. I filed a dispute and was told I should have seen the notice on the truck that blankets must be folded. Why didn't they tell me this in person when I picked up or dropped off the truck? They even said that other people have complained about this very issue. I rent from Uhaul all the time but if they are not going to make it right on a simple $25 charge I'll use a different provider next time.

I dropped off a 26' truck one-way rental here, so I didn't interact with a lot of stuff, but the person who checked me in was great - very friendly and gave clear instructions. I was in and out within 5 minutes. This location was easy to find and there's a gas station right around the corner (on South and Sharon) that actually had decent prices, so if you're looking for a place to fill up before dropping off, no need to go far. Definitely recommend this place as a drop off location!

My experience renting from this facility was actually very pleasant, the young lady that assisted me during my check-in, Raven P was very kind, cheerful, friendly, and helpful. Unfortunately my experience went down-hill when I returned the truck. I was charged for gas despite having put gas in the truck and returning it to the proper gauge before taking the truck back. What a scam. Don't bother putting gas in the truck because they are going to charge you anyway then argue with you about it (3 workers arguing with me on the phone btw, super unprofessional)
