        We checked in after a long flight and had a professional gentleman check us in and upgrade our room to the 20th floor with a gorgeous city view. We were starved, so we found our way to the Westin Charlottes bar and restaurant for a bite to eat. We were helped by server Sonu who was so wonderful and efficient. He deserves a raise! Food & drinks: Excellent service by Sony!

        I think I just had the best service in my entire adult life.. after a nearly 5 hour plane ride from Los Angeles to Charlotte, North Carolina, we are here at the Westin to stay for the evening . We came to the restaurant to get a bite to eat, and our waiter by the name of Sony was simply outstanding. I hope management pays attention to this review because employees like this are a rare find these days .

        This is my second stay at this hotel. The first time was great. The second time the mattress felt hard as a rock. I grabbed the pillows off of the other bed and slept on top of them which helped a lot. When I asked my work colleagues, many days they had the same issue with their mattress. Whatever mattress company you are now using, please stop. The staff here is super nice though. Rooms: Nice rooms but mine had a very uncomfortable mattress.
