Was here for a conference. Facilities did what we needed. The food was also great for the lunches.

Excellent stay! Service is exemplary. Ms Julia at the front desk made checking in very easy and joy-filled.
The restaurant for breakfast has something for every body and the service is done with a smile.
When we return to Charlotte we will definitely be staying here again!
Nearby activities: The Billy Graham Library is a MUST see!!
Nascar hall of fame was fun and the Charlotte speedway car show was wonderful.
Walkability: Many restaurants within walking distance made it easy and got lots of walking in!! Beautiful downtown area in Arsley

I'll start with the positives. The breakfast is awesome and the location is great too.
Unfortunately, that's where it ends. This area seems new but the rooms are so worn. Carpet is torn up, the couches are awful and beat up, plus their was an odd big black smudge on the ceiling. I wanted to relax, order room service and watch TV after a long drive.
On a limited menu, they were out of the only fish they offered, the room service person didn't even know the name of the restaurant, he also didn't know how to bill the order to my room so he came up to then just to bring me downstairs to charge my credit card. The food was average. The cocktails came in tiny Styrofoam cups. I've personally done room service at an Embassy Suites before, you bring the shaker and pour it in the room. Bare minimum, you deliver the drinks in a cocktail glass with saran wrap to avoid spilling.
About the TV, it was broken. So, I had to switch rooms after unpacking to another room. A room that was so over-perfumed with freshener spray, it was gross.
I did not get the R&R I was hoping to get. I talked to the front desk the next day, they said they'd reach back out to remedy the situation and they never did.
Either the Embassy Suites has lowered their standards as a brand or this location is an outlier, either don't book at this hotel.
