Saber Cleaners & Alterations

I started going here in 2023. I searched for an alteration business that had exceptional Google reviews and that search led me to Sabers. The man that works there (I assume hes the owner) has always gotten my cleaning and alterations done in time. And will give me a call if things are ready early. This isnt a place where you come in with your measurements. He goes off feel and look. You try the garment on, then he tailors it to fit your body perfectly. Great business.

The owner is very rude. Doesnt let you explain anything without interrupting you. He needs better communication skills

Sabre altered both of my wifes outfits perfectly and very quickly. The jumpsuit was almost ruined by another tailors work, but Sabre saved it. The dress was beaded and very difficult to work with but turned out great. Sabre was a huge part of our wedding success. We will always go to them for dry cleaning and alterations.

They lost my husbands suit from our wedding. Every time we stopped by to discuss, they would make us wait and be un helped until all customers left so no one else would see them raising their voices at us. We gave them a month to find it and when they could not they said they'd give us $130 to replace it. The replacement cost $200. Since it was from our wedding and was altered we said we'd like this replacement altered. The owner told me to sue him and leave because he isn't doing that. His wife stepped in and said they'd alter it but they were not happy about it. 3 months later they have found our wedding suit. They told us they'd sell us OUR suit for $130 and there is no room for negotiation. We said we'll trade suits but they need to cover the $70 difference. They told us absolutely not. So they want us to have our original suit AND be out $70. They also keep telling us this suit has sentimental value since it is from our wedding so we should just buy it back from them. So rather than feel bad for THEIR mistake, they are trying to use it as leverage to get more money out of us. The wife told us to try to return the altered suit to Macys, but Macys will not accept it due to the alterations. We called to let them know and the husband took the phone from his wife and yelled no and hung up on us because we said we will not pay $130 for our own suit that he is holding hostage. I have never experienced ruder customer service in my life. The wife kept telling me it was a mistake and I cannot fault them for making one mistake. I am not faulting them for the mistake, I am faulting them for the disgusting way they are handling the mistake.
