UNC Hospitals Heart and Vascular Center at Meadowmont (Vascular)

I had a text confirmation for an appointment at 10:45, so being the appointment time was 10:45 I arrive at 10:35 in order to checkin early like they always tell patients to do. I waited in the waiting room until 10:55. I asked the girl at the front desk why I havent been called to the back yet and she proceeds to tell me that just because I have a confirmation for 10:45 doesnt mean my appointment is at that time. She proceeds to tell me that my appointment time is 11am and the provider is BUSY needless to say its 11:10, and Im STILL in the waiting room. I also overhear her telling the male who checked me in to tell patients who arrive early that their appointment time is actually 15 mins after the time they were confirmed for. Very misleading. I will never revisit this practice again. Its very inconsiderate NOT to tell patients that you scheduled them 15 minutes prior to their ACTUAL appointment time. Honestly its tactless because the providers have the right to reschedule a patient for being 15 minutes late, but its perfectly fine when they do it. This is terrible patient care, and Im a former medical assistant btw so I know patient care. Highly disappointed in UNC for this. Maybe I shouldve stuck with the VA healthcare system (army vet).

Dr. K always makes it so simple. A few years ago he solved some issues I was having with my toes. Recently, other issues developed with different toes. Although it was very simple and painless before, it did required multiple visits. This time was different. Although scheduled to consult about only one toe, Dr. K quickly identified issues with 3 other toes that were having issues. Thankfully, no second visit needed. Dr. K performed procedures on all identified issues on the spot. Efficient and painless, we casually talked the entire procedure. Couldnt be happier with the results, ease of scheduling, and the friendliness of Dr. K. I cannot recommend him enough for both consultation and procedure.

Worst clinic ever!Shoudl not even get one star!My father was sent here because he had a huge wound which he thought was going to get cleaned there. They only cleaned it a little bit and then they didn't tell him nothing, so he went home thinking everything was good. They later call him like in 3 days saying that he was supposed to get antibiotics because his wound was infected. So then 2 days after taking the antibiotics he started to feel bad so I took him to the emergency room, where they did surgery on him and they found out that his bone was infected due to lack of treatment. If this clinic would have done their job right on his wound he wouldn't have to be in the hospital for more than a week now. Such a disgrace
