The UNC Family Medicine Center at Carraway Village

My mom recently went here to get settled and saw Dr. T. She first saw the most kind and caring medical student who made my mom feel heard and she was so impressed with how thorough she was. Then Dr. T also saw her and was so knowledgeable and caring. My mom has had a rough life and for this practice to make her feel so cared for makes a world of a difference. Thank you.

I recently called this clinic to schedule an appointment with my excellent doctor. However, I had an unpleasant experience during the call. The woman who answered the phone was very impatient and rude. While I understand that something bad must have happened in her life, but it shouldnt affect her interactions with customers. She should recognize that the last thing people want to do is call a clinic and hear her voice. People call for help, and if you are not here to help, please step aside. As a person with a higher level of education and EQ, I remained polite on the phone even though I felt uncomfortable. I hope she can learn some in the future.

Liza Straub and team are wonderful. Both routine and specialty request visits have been treated with respect and care. Each visit is very personalized. Love them! Would absolutey recommend!!

Dr.Phipps is an amazing Dr. The nurses are awesome. Always so friendly and welcoming. Truly love this place!!

I have had 3 visits with Dr. Straub and is she is an excellent provider. She is incredibly patient and I have never felt rushed to get through my questions or to discuss a concern. She has gone above and beyond in her care to help with any medical issues this past year.
