Hi David, I am very sorry to hear about the recent contact with the Allstate Customer Service team. I can tell you that you were not speaking with the Agency or an agency team member. I would like to clarify that since the response is on my personal Google Business page. Excuses aside; I will be looking into the conversation for sure and will be sending your comments to the corporation for review. Recently, Allstate has made some changes to policy service and handling, and will accept phone calls on behalf of the agency. The idea is to reduce service work and allow for agencies to better assist customers with more in depth service/sales related issues. What I can tell you is that the new phone system (calls routing to the 1-800-Contact team) on the agencies behalf is not a voluntary business practice of the Agency but never the less, something we as an agency must adhere to. The technology involved usually does reduce times for the agency, but many customers do not prefer to use voice automation or speak to anyone other than the local agent. We too would rather handle your calls as well. I understand whole heartedly, and will call you personally to rectify any issues you may have had dealing with the Contact Center. Your review is helpful feedback, and I appreciate your candid remarks. I will reach out to management and investigate the matter. We do not want this reflecting poorly on the agency and of course want to ensure the satisfaction of our clients we have worked so hard to build.
