Budget Car Rental

I had prepaid for a car online with my debit card. When I went to go pick the car up, I only had a debit card, and not a credit card. When they ran my card for the security deposit, my card was declined, which meant we could not rent the car. When we called the reservation number to re-book the car using my husband's credit card, we were quoted a price that was twice as much as I was going to pay. We spoke with Omar at the Hackensack location and he was very accommodating. He worked with us and was able to get us an upgraded car for slightly more money. This was a life saver since we needed the car to travel to a funeral over the weekend. Thank you Omar! I highly recommend this budget car location, and I will be using them again.

The man behind the counter was very rude and obnoxious. I asked him prior to running my credit what does a person need in order to be approved he kept stating he had no idea and ran my credit not once not twice but three times to then tell me I gave him an incorrect social security number. When in fact, I did not he ran my credit for the 4th time to then say sorry but you need a score of 700 in order to be approved but after taking the $700.00 to reserve the car. So not only did he fail to tell me this, he lied to my face regarding the credit and charged $700. After I confronted him why he did this, he became aggressive so I immediately filed a complaint with Management about the horrible service and incompetence of this office. Horrible Management!
