Budget Car and Truck Rental

Rented car in oklahoma to be returned in lincoln nebraska, no trouble with reservation except when reservation was made and the pick up location called to tell me they had no vehicles but to only be called 5mins after that they did... idk if they keep track or not but other then that I am satisfied also one more suggestion make sure you have a credit card if you dont they will run your credit with that being said make sure they have information correct before credit is ran in my case my name and last were not and they couldn't rent vehicle under my name my brother had to do it for me.

Car was good, women behind deck asked my brothers driver license, I didnt know what for and she put additional charges for additional driver on my contract, I drove locally and have only 231 miles for 4 days in Lincoln Ne, l put just one star for service because I called and speak to her and she dropped the phone

Worst service ever, don't even count on this company. I reserved a Chrysler Pacifica for a family trip for 5 adults and 2 children months ahead of time. Budget called the day before and confirmed our reservation. The next day when we showed up, they said they only had a small SUV. THis Budget is a franchise, so we could not trade out car. Bait and switch, and we had no choice with other reservations. Warning, stay away!

I would give 0 if at all possible. Reading reviews it seems this branches m.o. is to try and scam as many of their customers as possible. We had intended to rent a large SUV for a camping trip as we only owned small vehicles in the group and wanted to prevent taking multiple vehicles. At the time of picking up our vehicles we were informed that the person who had placed the reservation had a soon to be expiring license and because of that they wouldnt rent to us. We thought ok that makes sense how about we just move the rental to a new person we have someone with a license that would be valid through the entire rental. At the agency we were informed that we would have to renew the license of the person who had made the rental. This all happened at 4pm on a Friday. We decided our only option at this point was to try and renew the license. Unfortunately because the individual who had made the reservation is an international student we werent able to get the paperwork and information together to renew the license before the DMV closed. At this point we called the office again and attempted to find another solution. We assumed that because they had the car there (we had reserved it) and we were the people who wanted to use it they would allow us to cancel and then book the order again while on the line with their representatives and they would allow us to use the same car. This time they agreed that they would allow us to cancel and re-book but they would not match the price that we had already paid and we would be charged a premium for last minute booking. At this point we asked to speak with a manager because it felt (and still feels) like the agent was trying to take us for as much money as possible because he thought we were hooked. The agent informed us that the manager had gone home for the day and that he was unwilling to contact them to help in this situation. After telling the agent that this was unacceptable and that he should be ashamed of the service he was giving the agent hung up on us. We then had to cancel the order ourselves online and call budget support to attempt to get our money back. In the end we never got our car. Had our time wasted. And we still 2 weeks later have not received our money back. We ended up having to borrow a relatives truck to make the trip work. Do not rent from this company.
