Had rough start to rental. Vehicle received had bald tires. Had to work to get it exchanged. Finally reached Amber from customer service who arranged for us to get vehicle towed 1hr away from us to get a new vehicle. By the time we got back home it was 2 am. The pick up of the new vehicle was trying, but successful. Avis made it right, we received a new vehicle, and were on the road by 4am.

The Agent / Owner attitude sucks.. I would say the R word but I will leave it at do not judge people. Your Cars are insured, rent your cars without been prejudice, you cant think every person who walks in your store with an out of state license is a thief..

I went to the Avis car rental in Waterford last week and rented an electric car so I could be a Uber driver. My first night having it the battery died on my way to the charging station and I was stranded at the intersection for about 30 minutes until a nice gentleman offered to help push it to the charging station. The next day I took it back to Avis to see if I could get a gas car instead because of the experience I had and the guy said wait until next week because we dont have any at the moment we only get a few Uber cars. So today I just went there where they clearly have two gas cars and the lady I spoke to said she cant do any exchanges unless there is something mechanically wrong with it and she said that the Uber cars are on a 8 week contract even though on the app it says you rent either daily or weekly and she was kind of rude about it. Needless to say I wont be doing business with this company ever again
