The Bank of Glen Burnie

Do yourself a favor and don’t bank with this branch or bank period. I made the mistake a few years ago by financing my truck through them. I tried to come into the branch and pay off my loan as well as cash a savings bond I had laying around for years and was told they don’t cash savings bonds period, even though they’re supposed to up to $1,000. Okay no problem, I said then I will just pay off my truck and the lady asked me if I did my payments online, which I said yes it’s on auto pay. She said I need to just do the payoff online and they aren’t equipped right now to do that. Why do you have branches if you can’t service customers? I considered bringing my business and personal banking needs here since they are right down the street. I will stay with Ally and Schwab. Stay away!

Anything that would be instant usually is not with this bank transactions and transfers take forever to go through. Thinking of closing my account soon
