I have rented from budget every time I come to Maine to visit family for the last few years and currently have a rental out, but I will never rent from them again. The car they gave me broke down less than two days after I picked it up. I have been stranded at a rural cabin for the last three days because their roadside service has still not sent a tow truck. I arranged a ride an hour into Bangor to pick up a replacement car, but when I got there the staff said they could not do anything for me until roadside picked up the old car. I have been hung up on countless times, so to have the team in person at Bangor not even try to do anything to help, especially knowing the situation was incredibly frustrating. On the third day, the team has now informed me I will have to pay for the towing of THEIR car breaking down. Do not rent from here. I have wasted hours and hundreds of dollars, all while being treated like a bother. Will never rent from here again. Truly in disbelief.
