I "tried to" work with Brandy Bushman to deposit a check into my account, but she declined to help me. She said the quality of the check was in question (it was wet) which is why I came inside. Edit: the check was not wet today, but had signs of being in a moist environment She offered no resolutions except for "you can try to go to another branch to see if they might take it." As if that made any sense. She also stated that she could lose her job over the check, which isn't true considering the amount of checks Chase takes and probably doesn't validate. She never Pulled up my account or made any attempts to help me resolve the issue other than stating that I should "get another check." I was able to get the check deposited by using the Chase app which begs into question: does Brandy actually want to lose her job or does she want to help people? And if you're reading this thinking that she made the correct choice then are you saying the app made the wrong choice? Why did the check get validated through the app but the human was unable to figure out a way to make that same validation? The only fraud that happened today was Brandy deciding to step behind the counter.

Pleasant staff. Helpful...but didn't give me any stock inside info since the bank purchased Republic the other day. Thought it was worth a try.
