Very disdainful and dismissive staff that I have ever encountered! Every time I go to this bank, the staff has a haughty behavior and attitude towards any of my concerns. Today, it was only the teller and myself present when I asked to exchange my money into $100 bills. Then the teller asked me to “wait for a second”, then proceeded to go into the back door for a while then came out with a closed white envelope then quickly left to go into the back without saying anything (and before I could count my money that I have given to her). When I opened the envelope, she gave me bills that had multiple creases and bills that were issued from years ago (many of them had the look of some of the initial bills printed from a very long time ago). Although I rang the bell for her to come back to the desk, for a long time I was still waiting so I had to come back at another time. When I came back, it was just the teller and myself again, and the teller was there at the desk and when she saw me her face got immediately red and she seemed to have a very angry attitude towards me, and demanded to know why I was back. When I asked her to exchange the money again, she asked me multiple times to explain my reasons again and again about why I needed her to exchange the money again. After being asked multiple times about what my reasons were and then having to explain each of my personal situations that I needed to have clean, updated bills for, she pulled out a stack of the new bills and waved them at my face asking “do you want this?” multiple times. When I tried to keep my cool, and said “Yes” she then proceeded to huff and then loudly count aloud each bill in front of my face many times. Then asked “Are you satisfied?”, and when I said yes again, she put the bills into an envelope and tossed it at me, then quickly left to go into the back again. If you were to use any bank, I would advise to never go near The National Bank of Indianapolis.

We have several business accounts with NBI. While at times their high level security protocols can bug you, once you get used to it you learn to appreciate it. I have found everyone at this location to be very professional and friendly. My favorite thing is that all the staff seemingly works to know and remember their customers which makes for a very comfortable & pleasant family like experience. They are eager to help and easy to work with and will give you a very safe feeling when it comes to protecting you financially.
