image Allegations of Discriminatory Behavior and Rudeness: It has come to my attention that the assistant manager has exhibited behavior that could be interpreted as discriminatory and excessively rude. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and creates a hostile living environment for the residents.
Privacy Concerns and Surveillance: I have been made aware that employees have been instructed to monitor the residents' activities closely, reporting back to Ms. Shelton on who enters and exits the building. This level of surveillance is invasive and breaches our right to privacy.
Lack of Communication Regarding Construction: The ongoing construction within the property has been a significant inconvenience, further exacerbated by a lack of communication from the management about its duration and expected completion date. This lack of transparency is unacceptable, especially considering the high rent payments of $4,000 per month.
Misrepresentation of Authority: Although Ms. Shelton holds the position of assistant manager, it appears she has been left to oversee the property without adequate supervision or accountability. This has led to misuse of authority, including unwarranted intrusions into residents' privacy and spreading gossip.
Extended Closure of Facilities: The front door garage has been closed for over a year due to construction, causing considerable inconvenience. Furthermore, there have been instances where residents were asked to allow access to their apartments under dubious pretexts, raising concerns about privacy and the true intentions behind these requests.
Unprofessional Conduct: The facade of friendliness displayed by Ms. Shelton, contrasted with her actions behind closed doors, paints a picture of unprofessionalism and deceit.
Given these concerns, I strongly urge Mac Property Management Company/Owner's to conduct a thorough investigation into these matters and take appropriate action to address the misconduct and improve the living conditions for all residents. The current state of affairs is not only detrimental to the well-being of the residents but also tarnishes the reputation of Mac Properties.

image The building is new and fancy as the rent is also highest. The manager is not responsive and mean if you are not white (mean it). The maitance team never fix anything. I have a broken dish washer upon move in, and it is still not working after I lived there for 3 month, regardless some one has come to 'fix' it. I was overcharged for the first month. The problem is not addressed even I wrote tons of emails. The building is run by Mac Property, that's what you'll expect to deal with that company.

image Unfortunately this apartment is not friendly to new mothers and stay at home moms or elderly. It was designed for young students who can tolerate drilling sounds for weeks upon weeks for hours Oh, cause theyre at school. We have been living here for years and it was always one of the best but not anymore.
The construction thats been going on for MONTHS has been exhausting. There are constant drilling sounds, in our OWN WALLS, making my kids terrified and just an overall terrible experience.
The least the management can do is send a flyer or pamphlet that explains what the construction is and how long it will last, as well as reassurance that we shouldnt get nervous when we feel the wall SHAKING from banging and drilling
There should be notices given beforehand and not just this complete lack of consideration.
We plan to move out; but generally if youre a student this is a good place for you, otherwise find somewhere more peaceful and professional.
Additionally; the manager copy pastes to these complaints, cookie cutter responses, that make no difference and clearly nothing is changing.

image Dont rent this place. Dont come here.
In the year and a half Ive been living here, the building has been under construction the entire time. A glass panel was blown out of the building by wind on the second month we moved in and they decided to take down all exterior decorative walls. And from then to now the front garage door has always been inaccessible, the front entrance of the building has been blocked by scaffolding.
Recently they started putting all panels back on, and the work schedule is 7:45 AM sharp every morning, which is hard to not remember since I wake up to guys slamming suction cups onto my window every Saturday for the past month.
Yeah they host little community events now and then but thats only nice gestures that requires three pamphlets put up and a few hundred dollars spent every few months. When it comes to actually important building management decisions, the Mac team does not hesitate to create inconveniences and harass their residents. Not to mention the rent is way too high than what its worth but Ill leave that to you to decide.
I rarely post comments and never bad ones. Ive simply had enough and wish nobody else to deal with Macs irresponsible and inconsiderate management at Solstice. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Dear Bob, We sincerely apologize for the frustrations and inconveniences you've experienced during your time at Solstice on the Park Apartments. It's clear from your message that the ongoing construction and its management have significantly impacted your quality of life, and for that, we are truly sorry. The safety and comfort of our residents are of utmost importance, and the decision to remove and replace the exterior panels was made with those priorities in mind, following an unforeseen incident. However, we recognize that the extended duration and the early start times of the construction work have been disruptive, particularly on weekends. We are actively reviewing our construction schedules and management policies to better accommodate the needs and well-being of all our residents. Your feedback is invaluable in this process, and we are committed to making immediate improvements where possible. While we strive to foster a positive community through events and shared spaces, we understand that this doesn't negate the inconveniences caused by the construction. We want to assure you that we are taking your concerns seriously and are exploring all avenues to expedite the remaining work while minimizing disruption. We would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this further with you and explore how we might improve your experience moving forward. Please reach out to us at 773-548-5077 so we can arrange a time to talk that's convenient for you.Thank you for your patience and for bringing these issues to our attention.
