Chase Bank

I have been banking and investing with Chase for 16 years and this Branch for 1 year. I have found that the staff of the bank is the friendliest I've ever had and customer oriented. I like that it is located in Fred Meyer so convenient to do any shopping at the time.

I normally avoid large chain Banks but this Chase branch is the exception. The staff is honestly the friendliest banking staff I've worked with in years. I seldom have to come inside this branch but when I do I am always addressed and welcomed right when I come through the door. Both Caleb and Jess have helped me in many ways with my business and banking needs. I am really impressed with this branch and very happy that we chose to move our personal and business accounts over. My dog Mack however would like to address a complaint.... he requests treats again at the drive through. He throws quite the fit when the canister arrives and he doesn't get his take. Thanks!

Friendly Banker, Carley, was attentive, helpful & knowledgeable. Rates are as expected as other banks. The $$ Coupon for opening a Checking and Savings accounts is what brought me in. The service from the New Manager, Jess and Carley will be what will bring me back.

Here's a trend going on my Facebook for the last few hours. Tecle Gebremicheal was looking for answers. 5 hrs Quick question friends. I had a friend who wanted to open a bank account, then we went for Chase bank. Unfortunately, the employee at the Fred Meyer Chinden BLVD, location told my friend that they CAN NOT open a bank account unless they have permanent resident card (green card) or passport. I know I opened mine before I acquired those papers at a different institution and got confused, but I'm not trying to confuse anybody, there are already enough confusion going on in this country. So, is this just Chase Bank thing and is it right to deny a service while entered and living in the country legally? 13 Comments Comments Judy Rodham Gillies Judy Rodham Gillies I am not familiar with banking laws but would go to a smaller banking company like Evan's bank or Washington Federal. What is your friends status? Certain ID is required but not all bank employees understand different documentation. If they are here on Refugee status have them get an Idaho ID and take in their I-94. Can absolutely open an account with those. I love chase bank. The issue here could be with the chase employee whom youve encountered at that particular moment. Some people dont know their documents or the laws. I didn't expected my friend would rejected a service because they don't have permanent resident card or passport yet. He was holdibg the I-94 on his hand and keep asked for green card or passport. I should have ask for a different person but I thought it might be a new regulation. Anyways, it's all good. My friend has opened bank account at Washington Federal with the same documents.
