I booked one way truck for a move, things more or less worked out. But they called me the day of pickup saying I had to be there within 2 hours of pickup time or they'd give up the truck. Just charge a deposit at booking time if the concern is I won't show up. They were in a bit of a rush to get me out of there when I showed up. They didn't have any padlocks for the cargo in stock. I had to make 2 trips to home Depot to get one because the first padlock I bought didn't fit. 2 trips to home Depot in Atlanta traffic is not much fun. If I hadn't picked up the truck 2 days before movers showed up to load it, I would not have been ready in time with a lock. And they marked the fuel as full even though they didn't give me the truck with a full tank. So I paid to fill up the tank that the previous customer hadn't. So certain aspects of the experience left a poor taste in my mouth.
edit: to the owner: no, you tell me specifically in your response what you intend to do. If you want me to waste my time on the phone just for you to say "we're sorry for the inconvenience," I will not waste my time. If you intend to actually do something, you can write it publicly.
