Please dont be like me and ignore the reviews everything is TRUE! VERY detailed review coming soon!! But to summarize DO NOT RENT HERE!!! Incompetent/lazy/disorganized/vindictive staff, dirty tenants, half a s apartments, everything is broken or outdated, used needles laying on the ground, ROACHES EVERYWHERE!!! The hallways constantly smell gross. Theyll hound you for their $1200 in rent but wont fix or replace ANYTHING unless you hound them back! In the process of gathering reviews from other tenants to get this glorified project housing SHUT DOWN
Edit: Lol they didnt even bother to edit the insert community name in their copy + paste response. Ive been emailing these people for MONTHS. Every time I email the head manager I get a reply that shes on vacation, lol yea we can tell..
Ive been reaching out since November, Im just now hearing from head manger in FEBRUARY and only to threaten to evict me for unpaid rent. I spent my rent on a stove, ya know the one thats been broken since December?! Yes you read that correctly, I have not had a working microwave or stove to cook with since DECEMBER 26th, its February 24th..

My daughter lives in one of these god awful, disgusting apartments. There is mold growing around all the doors and windows, and on the ceiling. There is a huge section of wall behind the toilet missing, and the toilet has been broken for a while. Maintenance has been aware of these issues since they started and has made no effort to fix them. I would not recommend to even the most desperate of people to rent here. Steer clear of this place!

5/5 stars--I've been a renter with Terraces at Summerville since 2020! Excellent service, always prioritize tenants and are truly understanding and professional. The staff at Summerville are always reachable and willing to go above and beyond to ensure you have a safe, clean, comfortable place to live. I feel so lucky to live here! I've always felt safe and enjoyed the quiet neighborhood-like feel this community offers. Would (and have) recommended Terraces at Summerville to many friends moving to the area!

We moved our daughter here and a few days after we moved her in tried the washer/dryer comb, started leaking like Niagara Falls. Water was coming out so fast, we couldnt keep up. The whole kitchen floor flooded. We had to pool water into the sink. It was a nightmare.
My daughter put in a work order through her portal as they instructed, and she rec'd an email that indicated that they rec'd the work order for the washing machine/dryer. This was on 11/30/2022. They never came out and fixed it.
The door to the building has a keypad for added security, it came off track. I had call them every day or every other day for a month before the Maintenance Supervisor called back just for it to take two more weeks to get fixed, it took 5-10 mins. Anyone could just walk up to the building and open the door without put in the code to open it up. Lease up Nov 17, 2023 but I thought the 18th. I sent them a letter in the mail in July 2023 to inform them that we would not be renewing our lease. My daughter went to the leasing office on Aug 4, 2023, to confirm that the letter
was received. Oct 29, I looked on the portal to confirm that the leasing office had, in fact, pro-rated the rent for
Nov and they did. When I went into the portal on Nov 3rd to pay it, the amount changed. It doubled! I had to wait until Nov 6th to
call the office since they aren't open on Saturdays. The manager had an attitude right off the bat. I was only trying to get the acct straighten out to pay it. She was too busy to help me get to the bottom of the issue. The way it was handled was unprofessional. We agreed for me to pay the amount that I saw on Oct 29. She advised me to pay it through money order, cashiers check, or MoneyGram. She even sent me the instructions for MoneyGram with the receive code via email. I tried to go to CVS to pay it through MoneyGram three times, ran to the bank. After all that running around, I couldnt pay that amount through MoneyGram
because the apartments system still showed the incorrect amount so the system kicked it back. While I was running around trying to get this paid, they added a late fee to our account, so it made that amount even higher. I paid that rent on time every month up to that point and you can't compromise and work with me on this issue. This apartment complex has roaches, and they are everywhere. I saw that in the rent, they charged you
a fee for pest control. I am not understanding this as the young lady in the office that I spoke with informed me that this is to take care of the pest for outside. Roaches are not outside; they are all inside these apartments. I need for the pests inside the apartment to stay outside, not the other way around. If they charge you pest control every month, why werent they spraying your individual apartment every month was my question. Now you can get that done, you must call the leasing office and be put on a list to have it done. I didnt understand that as they dont waste any time putting it in your rent every month, but you have to call them and beg them to spray your apartment. You cant request to have your apartment sprayed more than 3Xs in one month. This made no sense to me, but I let it go. Moving out is another huge problem. Have so many problems that I can't list them all here. I just wanted to be treated with respect and that didn't happen. I would be very cautious to stay here.
