The Standard at Tampa

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I have friends who have lived here and it was the biggest dumpster fire I have ever witnessed. They moved in and there were fleas, they have zero parking available, all night there are noises coming from the dumpsters outside, they charge you for every little inconvenience, homeless people roam the parking lot, they will tow your car from any lot, and there are hidden charges if you are wanting to sublease, and they make it practically impossible if you want to, and the WiFi? Oh lord good luck Charlie . It's genuinely one of the most disgusting complexes I have ever been in. They give their residents "gifts" to try and make up for how poorly it is run (considering they refuse to give you the phone number of an adult). I have never seen rooms so small in an apartment, it's genuinely a swedish prison cell and I'm not being dramatic. I wake up from spending a night there and feel dirty (and it's 100% the complex making me feel like that). The smells that rip through the halls of this place is the most revolting this I have ever smelled. Loving about the first floor? Better like the stairs cause the elevators are ALWAYS broken and you will be hoofing it. They have no guest parking so your guests are forced to park across the street where they will be towed (taking it from personal experience) and they have to make a sketchy ass trek across a main road to get to the complex. They are so miserable like I honestly give them props for staying this long. No amount of amenities would make this place worth it. I'm telling you DO NOT move in. It's such a shit show.

Ive lived here for a year now and its a good complex to live in. If you can afford it definitely sign here. Its a little pricer than other places but atleast there arent any issues. If you do have an issue wether its maintenance or personal issue they resolve the issues quickly and communicate very well with the residents. If I was to say any pros it would the price , limited guest parking , and the utilities bill will so random. Me and my roommates cut down on using up the utilities and still always end up paying $5-$40 extra its annoying and rigged.

When entering the game room I noticed I needed a dime to complete my transaction for a nice cold Celsius . When Ali heard I was in need of this she went out of her way (running in 2 inch kitten heels)  to make sure I was able to hydrate and be ready for the gym. She is the absolute best staff member the standard has. She is always so helpful & continues to work with a smile on her face. Any questions I have she answers it and makes sure that I am fully satisfied before I leave . When I say Ali goes above and beyond for the residents I mean it. Thank you Ali !!!!
