Avis Car Rental

Even with a reservation, online check-in, pre enrollment of credit card and driver license, this was a disaster! The line is so long and slow people are sleeping on their luggage. Ive been waiting in line at the counter for over an hour and am only half way through the line. We landed almost 2 hours ago. Getting out of the airport will take longer than the flight here.

I showed up to pick up the car I reserved and was told there were none. I had even confirmed my reservation the day before. I got no warning, no phone call. I wasted money on Ubers to and from Avis and they refused to reimburse me for that. Had they called me I wouldnt have wasted my time/ money. Then the lady promised shed call me before they closed to let me know if they had gotten a car I could pick up. Of course she failed to do that too. Not having a car has really impacted my trip in a negative way. This company was a total let down and Ill never use them again.

Arrived to pick up my rental to find no one here to help and the doors locked. Called the number to find the associate was out to lunch. I was told shed be back in 5 minutes and an hour later Im still waiting for her to return

AVIS car rental Tampa downtown; Terrible experience, not solution oriented and not customer friendly at all. They unfortunately lie to your face and when the lie reveals they do not even apologize. They are not competent including the manager Mariana, they do not keep their promise to call you and take. Are of the problems they put you in. If you do not want to lose time, not get the car you ordered and on top travel to airport with swap promises and face even worse behavior from Avis employees at Tampa airport, chose another company for car rental
