Nice owner in David, seems like a smart guy, good communication. I did not like that a $26 part repair, well reviewed photo included, was not disclosed to my elderly mom or myself (we were told no parts available) and instead a full shower valve replacement was required- total cost for this full valve replacement option was $750. Which did not include fixing the wall that would have needed to be cut open for access. What a potential pain. Fortunately, with my small plumbing knowledge I was able to find the needed part online, it arrived in one day, installed in 15 minutes. We still wasted weeks circling around with the high cost/effort option. Shower was not usable during this period due to cold temp. Recommend to company; being clear with customers on options, costs, risks. If companys desire is to not do the easy repair, at least explain its available before you cause extra financial grief and wasted time. Particularly on an elderly customer.
