I've lived here from 2003-2007, 2008-2012, and 2020 to the present. The apartments themselves are awesome. Huge living room, huge master bedroom with half bath and walk-in closet. Great location, just a minute from Route 13, Route 1, downtown Smyrna, Lake Como. The downside? Your neighbors. Since this is low-income housing, be prepared for constantly smelling pot, burning food, candles/incense (trying to cover up the pot smells), people shouting and fighting, babies screaming, fights in the parking lot, and loud music. Oh, and false fire alarms about once a month that force you out of bed at 3am where you have to sit in the parking lot for an hour until the fire marshal gives the clear. If they could clean up the quality of tenants, this place would be a lot nicer.

It is a huge improvement from how it used to be when they first built these apartments. a new company has taken over from the old company that was here before. Management is on point. I've lived here for about 22 years this will be my last year here. compared to the past landlady's that were here the new one is a much huge improvement from the others. It takes a really tough person to work at Smyrna Gardens apartment as a landlady.
