The list of problems with this apartment complex is extensive. I lived here for over 2 years, never missed a rent payment, always respected the rules and other tenants around me however my time here was almost always filled with eviction threats because I was apparently a "noisy tenant". There is another apartment complex here managed by remax and is mostly filled with student from CSUP. The parties they threw were pretty big and noisy so in turn many of my neighbors, who have lived there for several years, complained that it was all me and thus the eviction threats started. This came to the point that even loud cars driving past would be blamed on me and the manager could have cared less about what I had to say. The manager here is very much on the side of the tenants so much so that he would take the word of older tenants when they tried to blame random noise on me. In the 903 block theres a few older gentlemen that might prefer walking around their apartment with ear muffs because even a knock on the wall would be a subject of complaint. I even asked my manger if I have to whisper in my own apartment to appease the seniors around me and he told me "if thats what you have to do then yes". Many of my own complaints went in one ear and out the other. There was a sprinkler right outside my window that would spray directly inside every morning and soak everything inside. When I asked if that could be fixed I was told nothing could be done. Smh. When it snowed, all of the walk ways and porches of the other apartments in my area had been neatly shoved while mine, which was located at the end of the walk way,, was completely untouched. There was water damage in my bathroom when I first moved in, they charged me $50 to fix it citing that because I was a "noisy tenant" that I must have been me or a guest that caused the damage. Now when it comes time to finally get to leave, THEY WILL HAVE YOU CLEAN AND READY YOUR APARTMENT FOR THE NEXT TENANTS. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING A PROFESSIONAL TO CLEAN THE APARTMENT AND PAY A PROFESSIONAL TO STEAM CLEAN THE RUGS. All of the duties a normal apartment complex has when a tenant moves out will be relinquished to the renter and YOU WILL BE FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR GETTING THE APARTMENT READY FOR THE NEXT TENANTS.
Do yourself a big favor, though the location and price of these apartments may be choice, the added stress of living here is not worth it for anyone. There's tons of houses and apartments for rent here in Pueblo, please keep looking.
