Hertz Car Rental - San Rafael - Francisco HLE

Rudest store manager - and not just to me! Heard him arguing and speaking impatiently with several callers as well. The topper was when I returned the car at what he claimed was 2/8th tank full when they'd rented it to me at 3/8th tank! Aside from quibbling over the 1/8th tank of gas, the fact they hadn't sent the car out full tells of their staffing level & lack of professionalism. Then when he told the driver returning me to the body shop to swing me by the gas station to add 1/8th tank of gas (the charge would have been $25 if I hadn't!!) the driver said "looks like 3/8ths full to me" he argued with the driver too! Yeah, no Hertz. There's an Enterprise a block away, that's where I'll take my business!

This is the second time I tried to rent a car at this location. Second time they didn't have the car that I ordered and I ended up taking an Uber home. Never again. I would never recommend this hurts location or hurts in general they suck

The staff here were rude for what was supposed to be a simple car rental for 1 day. I had an employee perk that allows me to get a rental car from hertz at a small discount. The moment I showed up it was their goal to not let that discount happen - we are talking like $10-20 off not a free rental by any means. Its unfortunate how hertz management can allow the staff to be motivated by anything besides the customer experience.

Booked the car acouple weeks in advance. I showed up at the counter (on a very rainy day) gave them my name as was immediately recognized as a president member. They gave an upgraded vehicle...brought it around the front to avoid the rain down pour....I was in an out in less then 10 minutes. Fast an efficient.
