I purchased a new phone from Samsung a black friday deal because the offered me a free phone. They gave me an $800 trade in for my old phone. When it came time to ship my trade in phone it was to go to Verizon but Verizon would only give me a $40 trade in. I had the deal in an email but Verizon refused to honor the deal. I was told I had to go to a corporate Verizon store and they would honor the deal. This corporate Verizon store again refused. I had them turn on my old phone and I returned the new one to the best buy where i had to go to pick it up. I had an Email with the deal in writing and Verizon still refused to honor it. How does Verizon do this to their current customers? My advice If there is a deal for a Verizon phone make sure Verizon will actually honor the terms before you make the purchase. I have no idea how because I am proof they are willing to refuse to honor a deal that is in writing. Just an update. Verizon reached out after reading this to see what they could do to make it right. As it turns out they would do nothing. So after more than 20 years being a Verizon customer paying $140 a month with limited data. I am now with AT&T paying $99 a month with unlimited everything and 2 new phones.

Benito Lopez offers exceptional personal, customer service and professional skills. I went to a one of their franchise Victra stores where I was subjected to a switch and bait bill. I could not get the Victra franchise store to correct the issue. So I closed my Verizon account. However, I was still getting billed for a phone that I was told was free and the Wi-Fi unit, which were both returned to the Victra franchise store. Then I walked into a Verizon company store and met Benito. It took him 2 1/2 hours to square things away. I will be coming back to Verizon and doing business only with Benito and the staff at the this company store. Anybody that walks into a Victra franchise Verizon store, I suggest you run like hell out and go to see Bonito Lopez and his teammates at this Verizon company store. They will treat you fair, and they will treat you right, and they will treat you with honesty and respect not to mention with exceptional, personal, customer, service, and professional skills.
