Update ~7 months in: With no notice, they no longer provide air conditioning in the winter. I understand that Phoenix isn't that warm in November, but this should cause concern for those with needy loved ones or pets. "I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to inform you about an important change that will affect the heating and cooling system on property. We have decided to switch from a chiller system to a boiler system for the upcoming season. While this change will allow us to be more environmentally friendly, it will also result in the temporary unavailability of air conditioning. Please note that during this transition, we will be solely relying on the boiler system to provide heating. As a result, the chiller system, which is responsible for cooling, will be turned off. This means that air conditioning will not be available until the system is switched back in the future. We understand that this change may inconvenience some residents, especially during warmer months. However, we assure you that we have taken this decision after careful consideration of all outcomes" This clearly ChatGPT or other AI text generated response provides no details as to when or if these will be available again. Update ~6 months in: Community is quiet enough depending on the time. The social amenities are often loud from 4-9pm. If your unit is adjacent is close to those, plan to turn up the TV or put in the headphones. We have been encouraged to provide honest feedback on these reviews. When leaving less than a 5 star review we get snarky, chastising e-mail for doing so. One turkey has been offered to the whole community as a bribe for 5 star reviews. Community is mostly good. Amenities are fine. Maintenance is responsive. Admin is trying to sell something as better than as is and does not like to be called out. Approved for the unit on May 24, did not receive the lease until June 28 for a July 1 move in. Nobody in the office seems to talk to each other, each time I called in I received a different story including that the unit would not be ready and that the price was now higher. Upon move in the unit was very different than the one I was shown. I was offered the unit that was initially shown, several days after I had already moved in. The maintenance requests on move-in have not yet been completed. Complex and neighbors seem nice enough. Just be prepared for the bait and switch.
