Four Points by Sheraton Birmingham Homewood

I read the reviews before staying here, but this place was great. The staff was friendly and the cleanliness was adequate for this level of amenities/expectations. Yes....the mattress was something to be desired, but it wasn't horrible. I would very happily stay here again and recommend this place to anyone. I have no complaints and considering that I travel 6 mos a year...I dont understand the negative reviews. They seem unwarranted. I was more than pleasantly surprised. I'm very VERY happy that I chose this location. 5 stars all day. BTW, the place is quiet and has plenty of parking. It's tucked away and feels very safe.

Rooms were nice. They didn't mind us using the breakfast area to gather for our family reunion. The location is around plenty of shopping stores.

Lets start with the 45 minute wait for our room to be ready (we arrived at 6 pm). The hide-a-bed was a rectangle of metal. Seriously I felt horrible having my daughter sleep on it. The king bed must have been 20 years old. Titanium Elite member who has stayed in a ton of Marriott properties. ThisoneisTHEworst ever. The staff was friendly, but thats the only positive I can offer.

I had clothing and facial products stolen from me at this location. I called, left messages, called corporate and never received a call back when I was told someone would contact me. The email for the manager isn't correct with the corporate offices. Nothing was done. I didn't even get an "I am sorry." Very disappointing. I won't be staying there again.
