La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Birmingham Homewood

No hot water in the rooms!! Rooms: The rooms were very clean and very nice. The only problem I had was that there was no hot water and when I was moved to another room for hot water it had no hot water also. The beds were very comfortable also Safety: I've been very safe in that area and I felt very comfortable staying there. Food & drinks: Plemty of options around the hotel to get food and drinks. A lot of restaurants located within that area.

Ok, I understand there is a renovation going on, which I didnt even see happening, but this place was nasty. Didnt even take socks off to walk on floor or sleep. Everything was filthy around this place, esp in common areas. Gross. Gross. Staff was amazing though!!!!!

This hotel did not meet the standards of LaQuinta. The carpet was filthy, the elevator closest to my room not working, no eggs at breakfast except boiled, everything was carbs, lumpy pillows, uncomfortable bed, scratchy linens, dingy and damaged wood trim and doors, light bulb out, exterior side door stuck, hallway smelled of cigarette smoke, check in was slow although I was the only customer, stair well was dingy and looked tired. The entire place was rundown. This hotel was a tremendous disappointment.
