Avis car rental at Cheyenne Airport is fantastic. It's a small airport, so you won't have to travel far from baggage claim. Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Competitive pricing.

They will give you a rental with previous damage, give you a yellow slip and say "don't worry this damage is already on record." and then weeks later file a claim that you are liable for the damage. You will get the call around and get no help with anything. They say they will "look into it". Even calling corporate is useless and can't help you out. 1st off, AVIS should not be renting out cars to customers with damage. 2nd- their staff should be inspecting the car thoroughly before and after, and 3rd-AVIS is so unorganized as they "can't find" a record of the damage all of a sudden. This has to be the worst experience I've ever had with a rental and definitely my last with this company. Save yourself the hassle and don't go here. UPDATE: We did get it taken care of by one of the employees at the pickup location who followed up and took care of the situation for us with corporate. We were provided a case number and did get it straightened out with his help.
