You have to be a little adventurous but this place is really a gem. Off-beat but very fun, and super affordable. Owner was exceptionally friendly, however she did mention that the place may come under new management eventually so I can't speak to what it will be like in the future. Enjoy it while you can!

Mountain View is one of the best and the friendly place. the cabins are very clean done in the rustic. the RV lots are nice and is open year around. I have been here for going on 4 years now.

We booked three nights at the RV campground but left on arriving at the site. The site was a combination of gravel, dirt and grass and in poor condition. Surrounding the site were a handful of permanent RVs with various junked vehicles, tools and other debris scattered about. Quite a few dogs, most in a permanent state of excitement, and the smell was noticeable. There were no bathrooms or showers.
We witnessed another camper arrive, check out the site and depart without staying the night.
Looking at the positive, the staff were friendly and helpful and the location is excellent - a ten minute walk to town. The price was also very affordable.
