If you ever need to use the ATMs do not choose Wells Fargo as your bank. Not a single one of them. I just got done driving to four different ATMs and two of them were out of service and the other two were not excepting deposits at the moment. And this is unfortunately a very common thing for me to have to do. I am so sick of it and time to find a new bank.

I just left the Villard ave branch here in Milwaukee. I tried to open the lobby door at 9:05am but was locked. So the lady in drive thru (Edwina) had an attitude because I ask 'why is lobby closed?' She said because it's closed! I said the sign says lobby opens at 9? I had a very large cash deposit from weekend sales & Do Not feel comfortable sitting in the car w/cash in our hi crime neighborhood! She was rude & very slow with my 2 deposits & Never said why the lobby was closed? Only in our Black neighborhoods does the quality of service fall below standards!

I am a customer with Wells Fargo and I have been to this branch a good number of times since it is very close to the Villard Square public library which I enjoy going to in my free time. I am greatly concerned about banking at a financial institution that is continuing to finance the expansion of industries destroying our planet.
I was pleased to learn that Wells Fargo joined the Net Zero Banking Alliance (NZBA), committing to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions associated with their lending and investment portfolios on a timeline consistent with limiting global warming to no more than 1.5C. And that in its most recently released 2030 climate targets, Wells Fargo committed to reduce absolute financed emissions from the oil & gas sector by 26%.
However, one of my biggest concerns is that Wells Fargo's 2030 climate targets fail to rule out support for fossil fuel expansion and that no one at this branch had a real response to this concern other than saying they will pass it along.
There should be an absolute emissions metric to reduce the emissions associated with Wells Fargo's lending portfolio, especially the energy and power portfolios.
Wells Fargo, including this branch, should follow the IEAs recommendations and update the 2030 climate targets to include a clear commitment to end all financial services for any project or company that is engaged in the expansion of the fossil fuel industry.
Not long ago, the International Energy Agency (IEA) released Net Zero by 2050: A Roadmap for the Global Energy Sector, a major comprehensive report on what is required from the global economy if the world is to avert the worst impacts of global climate change. One of the IEAs clearest findings was that there is no need for investment in new fossil fuel supply if the world is to keep global warming below 1.5C which, as the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has made clear, is imperative for the survival of millions of people and countless species.
It is clear Wells Fargo must stop supporting companies that fail to follow the IEAs guidance.
Wells Fargo claims to care about its customers, but continues to finance industries that jeopardize its customers livelihoods and financial futures. Its overdue for Wells Fargo - as one of the biggest financiers of fossil fuels in the world - to step up, take responsibility for its complicity in the climate crisis and make plans to end its support of these destructive industries.
