Awesome knowledgeable and honest staff with customers betterment being a priority. Kurt and John have decades of experience and are both fantastic to chat with. Store has very helpful and overall amazing customer friendly policies with plenty of options in case one changes their mind or wants upgrades etc. Encourage listening and discussing all sorts of options.

Audio shops like this are getting harder to find. Hawthorne reminds me of Audio Consultants in Evanston IL, the store l bought my components over the years until they closed recently. Hawthorne has a great selection of new and used gear and were very helpful when l came in to audition a few pieces even without an appointment. Seattle is lucky to have this shop!

Incredibly nice and knowledgeable staff. They let you browse all you want and are quick to respond as soon as you have questions.
What's nice for people just starting out or need to stay on a budget is their used room.
It's full of top grade equipment that has been totally checked out.
No matter if your budget is $1,000 or $300,000 they will fix you up with some great equipment.
It's a great place. I'm a customer for life.
The staff always steers you the right. way.
