I recently visited Audio Connection in search of a new turntable and was blown away by the level of customer service I received. John, the owner, is truly passionate about audio and it shows in his knowledge and attention to detail. He helped me choose the perfect turntable for my needs and set it up with the utmost care and precision. Not only that, but he also matched me with a phono pre-amp that complements my setup perfectly.
But John's excellent customer service didn't end there - he even called to check in on me after my purchase to make sure everything was working as expected.
Walking into Audio Connection feels like stepping back in time to the golden age of audio, and I couldn't be happier with my experience there. Five stars all around!

John is a wizard of audio . He gives solid advice for all levels of audio equipment. Ive been going to him for 6 years and Ive never regretted his advice and equipment recommendations. No place else in the Seattle area that comes close !

I bough my system from John in roughly 2016 when I knew basically nothing about hifi. 6 years later I feel compelled to write a review because despite knowing way more about hifi and components now (and buying many additional components) the original Cary amp and Monitor Audio speakers remain in my system. Johns advice and curation is so valuable. I really encourage you to visit John vs relying on YouTube and internet exclusively, as it will save you time and money to buy right the first time.

This shop is a true gem in the Seattle stereo gear sales and repair landscape.  I found the store after looking for places that are able to perform tuneup and repair work on a late-70s turntable I was given and have had on a shelf at home for over 10 years.  John not only tuned it up, but had some great cartridge and rewire recommendations that will make the turntable sing.  Along the way, I discovered in his store an excellent bookshelf speaker pair that I will be purchasing today and a phenomenal Marantz CD player that I'll also be picking up and adding to the vintage stereo system that I'm currently assembling.Shops like this one are hard to find and I'm glad I found John's store.
