I'm in this branch almost weekly. From the security guard holding the door open for me to the employees all greeting me like we are old friends, I have to agree that the customer service here is top drawer.

The banking experience is the worst with this bank. I have over 97% percentile income and perfect credit score, applied a credit line only a few percent of my personal wealth and got magically rejected. I went to Chase to make a large amount withdraw, because it didn't have adequate cash it cut me a cashier's check, I went to us bank to try to deposit it, and the bank wanted to hold partial funds for 5 business days! Hello us bank, it's a cashier's check and not check from nowhere account, don't treat every customer like a scam artist writing bad checks. Idiotic bank, doing everything slower, less efficient with a lot more restrictions, making it hugely difficult to bank with it. I ended up wasting 45 minutes for nothing! What's more the bank manager is terrible and has a strong attitude against customer, not even quite qualified for a regular teller's job.

I use U.S. Bank for my checking, savings, and two credit cards. I like their no annual fee Cash Plus credit card because I can choose two categories like cell phones or home utilities to earn 5% cash back. When I redeem points on their Flex Perks card, I don't get charged airport or airline fees. You can also use points to pay for the annual fee. I can find a branch in most neighborhoods and cities. The staff is friendly at this location but parking is difficult to find unless you are in Pioneer Square area all day. Unfortunately, I can't recommend U.S. Bank to my QuickBooks customers that I set up, fix, clean up, train, and provide the software for a discount because unlike other banks, you can't download their transactions directly into QuickBooks desktop Pro or Premier like Chase, Bank of America, BECU, and other financial institutions at no charge. What's so difficult about enabling that?
