DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!! Where do I start!?!? We signed up for a tour of the property with the incentive of a discounted fishing trip with cabana and "VIP" card for the week. We were insured that this was a no-obligation presentation. We showed up at 8:30a and began what was a very pleasant tour of the facility. Our tour guide (sales person) Claudia was kind and endearing, telling us MULTIPLE time that it's not for everyone. After the tour we went to a different part of the hotel that was packed and loud - each salesman giving their pitch to sell a unit (time-share). We politely listened to Claudia give us the pitch and we ENCOURAGED (basically told) to ask questions about the property and the presentation. We obliged but ultimately declined to accept any of her offers (there was a buy now price and an "anytime" price). We were once again told that, "We understand it's not for everyone. The presentation is over." At this point we were approaching 1h45m - 15 minutes over our 90 min obligation. She proceeded to leave the table to talk to an older man on the other side of the room. This is when it all changed. He approached the table (late 60's, 6'3, 205lbs, thinning white hair and blue eyes - never told us his name - no surprise looking back) and started the sales presentation all over again - except this time is was made very clear that no was not an option. He spoke to Claudia like it was her fault we weren't buying, glaring at her tell her, "You should've asked this. That seems important, doesn't it. Did you show them this?" For me, that was a non-starter - she was great (for the moment) he was the issue. He went on and on and on and on asking us stupid hypotheticals about whether we would take it if it were free and if liked the property. "Yes, we like the property, but we're not in any position to purchase a vacation home." (We had told him a couple different times that we were newly engaged and looking for a home). It wasn't until I told him that we weren't going to sign on any line without having a lawyer look at the contract (only thing that seemed to get through to him). He tried to offer us some $3k travel promotion as his last effort, but at this point we were ready to leave. I reminded him that we are 30 minutes past our presentation and to respect our time on vacation. He then went off about how the only reason we're still here is because we asked questions "The presentation went long because you asked questions did you not? You're telling me you took this tour with no intention of buying anything? It's clear to me you're not interested in anything we have to offer even if it was free. You're not listening." Ummm, first, Claudia told us we need to ask questions. Second, we were told about 10 times from multiple people that there was no obligation and they were happy to show us property to see if it was something we'd being interested in. This was CLEAR pressure tactics to make my fiance and I feel uncomfortable and corned. "Did you not enjoy the tour with Claudia (berating her again)?" I responded, "She was great for 90 minutes. It's the last 20 minutes we haven't liked." This was the last straw for him. He retorted, "All do respect, you're the one who is being disrespectful by asking for lawyers to get involved and telling that we're over on time. You clear had no intention of purchasing anything here. Your presentation is over now." . Claudia walked us out the door and out of the resort without saying another word to us. Hard to say, but that was a side of her we had not seen. We were so shaken up, my fiance especially, after the intimidation we decided to decline the discounted fishing! We didn't want to give them another cent of our time nor did we think that there may be hidden repercussions. When we left we were overwhelmed emotionally. We felt threatened and unsafe. I couldn't imagine a worst way to begin our trip. I refuse to stay at any property affiliated with this company. SCAM!
