Application and move-in process were a breeze. Ive lived in 6 apartments across NYC and Virginia and my experience here thus far blows them out of the water. Leasing office (shout out to Dennis!) is top-notch.
Apartment is very dog friendly and the location, while being in the heart of Clarendon, is tucked just far enough away to avoid the late night noise.

The Clarendon Apartments is a great location and has lots of nearby restaurants. GM Donovan is always looking out for the residents and team onsite. Maintance Manager Derrick is attentive to the residents as well as the team onsite. Always a pleasure to visit the site monthly

Manuel and Derek were quick to repair the fuses in the Circuit Breaker box. Now they just need to find the source of the water that created the problem. My bet is on them!

Derek is incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist me with my light fixtures. He's friendly, thorough, and efficient. I appreciate the care he takes in handling each job.
Edit: Updating this 9 months later to add that renting here has been fantastic. Dennis and Emily are super helpful. The maintenance team, particularly Derek and Manuel, is prompt, responsive, and friendly. Any issues that Ive encountered (which are few and far between, and minor) are addressed quickly and with ease. Shaukat and George are fantastic at the front desk and I cant speak highly enough about both of them.
Im pleased with the updates to the common spaces and the gym - it did take a while for it to come together, but it looks lovely and is much more functional for daily use.
Some folks have noted the noise in the neighborhood - Ill say that its valuable to come in with an understanding of the area and the nearby nightlife. I wouldnt recommend a unit facing the closer bars if youre noise sensitive. Otherwise, Ive had a positive experience in the neighborhood and the convenience of local restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, etc. is appreciated.
Overall, this has been an amazing rental experience.

This is a okay place to live, but very poorly managed. The move in process was a disaster and required me to move in a month after originally anticipated (even though I already signed a lease). The move out process wasn't much better. Everything in between was fine, so long as you don't have to deal with the management office too frequently.
The Good:
- Maintenance requests are handled quickly (see more below)
- The front desk staff are wonderful and staples of the community
- It's conveniently located
- Most of the apartment building is clean (see more below)
- The amenities are sufficient for the price of rent.
The Bad (within their control)
- The trash rooms are constantly overfilling.
- Maintenance fixes are short-term workarounds. Actual examples: water damage coming through roof - spray paint over it. Pipe flooding the parking garage because it came unconnected at the middle - use a seltzer shoved up against a wall to push the halves back together (to their credit, this worked for two years). Rat problem in the trash room - set a single trap in the corner and ignore the problem.
- They started a complete building renovation without any prior notice to residents. Residents were told about 2-3 days before they demolished the lobby.
- The management team is unresponsive, unprofessional and unqualified.
The Bad (outside of their control)
- It is VERY loud on weekends as a result of Spider Kellys and Don Titos. You can hear everything.
- Drunk driving is constant on weekends (see the first bullet)
- There were two shootings outside of the building in the last two years (see the first bullet).
