They sent me a $1400 carpet replacement bill for what I consider normal wear and tear of daily living in a carpeted apartment. In my case, it was a stain. I do not smoke. Nothing is burned. No easily noticeable colors. They admitted that the contractor deliberately chose to not try washing the carpet first and just instead go straight to the replacement - and of course billed me for it. Go on reading to find at least 2 other recent reviews under the same carpet grievance. Its like the current greedy management will try to get you on your last dime.

Towing policies are harsh. I pay 100 for parking outside and they towed my car a month after living here. Im a new resident and seems like a warning should have been given out to me since I do in fact pay my parking but apparently the leasing office gave me an old parking sticker. They just upgraded to the new year stickers, but a better courtesy should be given to residents who are actively paying 100 a month. 285 dollars to pay for 2 days of a towed car is ridiculous for a miscommunication. Manager of the property was not interested at all in helping me.

TLDR: off putting front desk staff (as seen on multiple occasions and now experienced first hand by myself) with management that protects them relentlessly. *Front desk used my information from the apartment system to look me on up social media after going OFF on me in the front lobby and the only resolution from management was an were sorry* Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this situation has completely turned me off to this complex. The price is increasing more and more and I can wholeheartedly say you do not get what you pay for. The apartments? Average at best. The staff? Oooooofff, Ill let you be the judge. Parking? Break ins and towing galore. The price? Too high for what youre getting. My poor interaction started at 11pm when my water from my shower spicket wouldnt turn off. Youd think that would be what Im upset about and writing this review on but no.upon calling maintenance for assistance on what to do/if there is a way to turn the water off I was cut off rudely by the front desk attendant while she then went on to talk to someone else in the background. She came back to the phone and told me to wait for maintenance to come, without me even telling her what apartment I was in. Thought that was weird. I stated my apartment number and waited the amount she told me to and hung up. When no one came I then went down to the front desk and saw how frazzled she was. Come to find out later, she was working through another emergency maintenance request (and poorly handling it imo being erratic in her behavior and muttering under her breath). Clearly she didnt want to be there and didnt know what to do to handle the situation. She had to look up in a binder at the front desk what to do and informed me their policy recently changed? When I asked her what was happening she immediately went into a defense mode that would get her a walk on offer for the NFL. She yelled, slammed the phone, told me I was being all sorts of things, and really was not doing all that well emotionally. In the interaction she told me to contact her manager, because she has nothing to be afraid of and told me her schedule and to stay away from the desk when she is working. She works everyday so Im not sure how thats supposed to work. I called the manager and left him a voicemail, which you should be able to hear her screaming at me in the background of. Look, I hate taking things this far but this was ridiculous. Upon taking this to the management, they told me there was nothing they could do because this was out of character for her, and she has had no previous negative reviews. I find that extremely hard to believe but okfailed to mention during this all she used my information which I never gave her, to then look me up online. Im assuming boomers dont know how LinkedIn works with that one. And again, management did nothing to resolve any of this, other than were sorry. I have the whole interaction on video and was told if I let them view it things could change, but otherwise nothing they can do. I have a hard time believe their words, so Im coming to warn folks. If you like your privacy/online safety/security and to be treated with kindness and empathy, dont move here. As for the positive reviews, please be aware once you sign your lease you are informed there is a contest being done and your feedback gets your entered to be rewarded, and also helps reward the leasing agent who helped you. Scammy to me and I wish I would have known before moving here because the positive reviews were what I was going off of. Update: they declined to hold a meeting with me and the staff member to discuss a more restorative justice approach, instead they gave me their contact for their lawyer. Lovely folks who definitely protect their residents!jk!

Holly, as we discussed the various stains that were present, pet and bleach, are not considered as normal wear and tear and unfortunately required the carpet to be replaced. Please let us know if you have any further questions however after reviewing the explanations of the documentation we provided by contacting us at [email protected]. We wish you the best in your next home.

Mirinda, thank you for previously meeting with our management team about this experience. As we shared, our goal is to provide professional service, especially during an emergency, and we are truly sorry you left this experience feeling otherwise. While we did investigate this matter by reviewing our video footage and confirming the maintenance emergency had been resolved according to our policies, we would still like the opportunity to review and consider any documentation you would like to provide. Our team looks forward to assisting you with any future needs and hopefully restoring confidence in your decision to live with us.
