Quality Inn & Suites Near Fort Sam Houston

Stay here if you want to be eaten by ants. "Budget inn" the new name is misleading considering I spent more than I would at a nice hotel for this extremely disappointing room.

Stayed here for a night! The room's air conditioning wasn't stable. It was pretty hot at night. Didn't ask for another room because we were just staying a night. Beds are too small for two people. What I did like is that they have a hair blow dryer, clothing iron, fridge, and microwave. The clerk in the morning is pretty rude. But the gentleman at night is pretty nice. Pool is pretty good. Needs improvements only for the bugs outside the pool especially a lot of bees!! The food in the morning is ok, McDonald's is better.

When I reserved I ask for 2 beds with my luggage already inside the room, found out it was only 1 bed!they don't know how many bed in one room :/ then is next to freeway but is by intersection had to take a route to get there, then found out it was flooded cause that a small river and it rain all day, I would never stay here again!is not free breakfast neither. .

There's only one receptionist left that I remember from when this hotel Quality Inn. She still cares, but the rest are completely not concerned about costumer service. While standing there waiting to check in, the male receptionist stated " what do they expect, it's Budget Inn" as he pointed at the sign on the highway. The statement came while family after family came into the office after having just checked in and going to their room found that they were never cleaned or sheets not changed or the wrong type of room. That was a warning that I should have taken seriously. I've found out the hard way that when the Quality Inn sign went down so the staff and the hotel itself. If you stay here then expect to make your own bed, and get your own own towels every day while the receptionist lies to and tells you that they will take care of it. NO HOUSE KEEPING

I have spent 40 nights at this motel over the past 3 years. Ever since the new owners took over and changed the name to Budget Lodge, things have gone downhill drastically. I know of 4 ppl who have had their vehicles broken into and their radios stolen. Pimps and prostitutes now frequent this establishment, and cockroaches........OMG.....they're everywhere. The biggest one is about 70 years old, a 150lbs, and answers to the name Mr. Hall. The new owners have been trimming bushes and doing alot of painting but that's just like putting lipstick on a pig. Over and out.
