Travel Inn San Antonio

I slept well here. No bugs. A/C works. Noise levels good. There are people who live here who may watch you while you move to your room, but they are friendly--not obtrusive. It's not the Ritz. My room's beautiful granite sink with nouveau faucet is clogged, the painted bathtub and wobbly toilet need replacement, but the fridge, tv, microwave, lights and A/C work. Air initially smells like someone violated the no-smoking rule, but cleared, or maybe I was less cognizant of it. Pillows could use an upgrade but I need more height than most. Bed is comfortable, clean, and is where TP, soap bars, and shampoo packages were attractively displayed--first thing you'll notice. No one touched my vehicle with residents keeping their own kind of vigil. Ceiling tiles need replacement. The other room had been occupied by a dog for a while, as evidenced by the smell, and food left. The low cost of $39 for the night made for a budget-friendly travel pause. Safety: There are residents there who watch you as you go to your room, and may greet you as you pass by. One resident played some rap music--Lil Wayne?--for all to hear, but I just went to my room. Once in my room, it was inaudible. Still, I didnt feel threatened or danger.

I have never had staff members work with me so well. They work hard to keep this a safe and comfortable hotel. Hard working!

This is a nice place to be at don't have to worry about ur safety. The management is top of their business. And if there's a problem with the room tell them and it gets done

Danny is cool maintenance teams are on point always fresh sheets and towels. I think I will definitely stay here again
