Their was trash in the drawers, and the room stank, not a thorough cleaning at all. Hygiene was lacking, and the customer service could be improved. Room was very cold on arrival, and took till morning hours to warm up. We often stay at days inn for price and and cleanliness. We will not be staying at this location again!

What a disappointment. Absolutely one of the worst hotel stays I've ever had. I checked in on 10/28. I reserved the room weeks ago and I asked for a King Size bed, non-smoking. I was told that there were no King Size rooms available because they had already been given out. I was told that the only room they had available was a double, Standard beds. Ridiculous. When I reserved the room, there was a price difference, so I told them I needed that difference if I was going to stay in a room with Standard rooms. I was told that they could not give me the difference because I had booked through a 3rd party. They absolutely refused to budge and pretty much told me to take it or leave it. I had the girl get the manager on the phone and the manager told me that either I'd have to take the room they offered or I can cancel and they'd waive the fees. And then she told me that I would have to cancel through the 3rd party and ask them for the refund. My night was already a hassle and I didn't want to deal with having to get another hotel at the late hour and then have to call Expedia and ask them for a refund, possibly not get it for some reason. Ridiculous. And that was just the check-in process. Stairs up were rusted. The top step was half missing, but at least someone took the initiative to put a cone there. The walkway to the room was slick and the cross-slope would never pass an ADA inspection (seriously, if there was ice on there, I'd be afraid of slipping off the 3rd floor). When I got to my room (305), the key worked, but I couldn't get the door to open. I literally had to put all my weight into the door to get it to open because the latch kept catching. Walk in, ready to turn on the Tech football game, and the TV is straight out of 1980. I had not used a tube-tv in 15 years. The room was clean, so kudos to the cleaning staff for getting that part right... I imagine the cleaning crew has to do the best it can with what little resources they are given. The beds were very small, not enough for two people when one of them insists on sleeping in the middle (why I wanted a KING!!!), so after an hour of hanging on the edge, I had to go sleep on the other bed. Room was VERY noisy at night and I could hear any car accelerating on the access road. I did not get a very good night of rest. In the morning, I got the orange juice and it was very watered down. When I go to check out, I try to talk to the person working at the desk, but he disappeared to the back somewhere. So I just set my room key down and left. I'd had more than enough. I will NEVER go back to this hotel and I probably will never stay at another Days Inn for as long as I live. Ridiculous. EDIT - Oh! I forgot the coup de grace! On my way to the room, I walked by not one, but TWO rooms with their blinds wide open and clearly no one inside. The size of the beds? KING SIZE!!!
