Rooms: Very dirty, headboard fell off when I laid down, every fixture in the room is almost falling off the wall. Floor hasnt been properly swept in I dont know how long. Safety: Checked in late at night from a long work night, lots of people menacingly roaming around the motel with drinks staring you down and trying to bum a cigarette off you. A good night to be concealed carrying for sure. Noteworthy details: This motel is everything you think about when you think about a cheap motel, youre getting exactly what you are paying for. Ignore the bugs in the room, the room thats falling apart, and the looming sense of danger from just walking to your car to the room and youre fine. The front desk guy was pleasant, but that would be the only positive thing I can say about this place. If you can afford better, go anywhere else besides here. Heck, sleeping in the car sounds better right about now.

The room wasn't what I requested, either had to sacrifice TV for an upstairs room with minifridge & microwave or downstairs with TV. People out running around & noisy until 1 am. Not very clean, 2 of the crappies thinner towels I have seen. STAY ANYWHERE ELSE

We were originally planning to stay here as a stop over both too and from our final destination, but upon entering the room we booked somewhere else for the return. Honestly the thing that Motel 6 in general should be ashamed of is that they are charging people to live in this squalor permanently. Most of the people there seemed to be living there long term. Mostly everything was broken or put back together with electrical tape, the shower as pictured was worn and dirty (bring shower shoes if you are staying here). Our fridge was broken and leaking but the staff took it out of our room and put in one that was not leaking everywhere. There was no trash can so not sure what they hoping we were going to do with any trash. The sheets on one of the beds were damp for some reason. However, the thing that was the worst and really makes the Motel 6 company the equivalent of a slumlord is the cockroaches. We found 3 and managed to kill two (I uploaded a picture of one) but I assume there were more. The staff were doing their best with the conditions they were given, but staying here is not for the faint of heart and my heart breaks for all the people around who find themselves in a situation where this is their home. Motel 6 should be ashamed of themselves.

Unfortunately, I hate leaving bad reviews because I try to think if I would ever stay there again. This is not one of those places. The only good thing I can say is that the location doesn't seem to be the worst. It is on a street with a few other nice hotels, so I'm not sure why this place is so horrible. That's where the positives end. For starters I was welcomed by watching an argument between one of the tenants and a staff member or cleaning person, with the staff member walking off saying something to the extent they would "bust them right in the face" or something to that extent. I say tenant, because it seems many of the people that are staying here, actually live here. The yard area is pretty disgusting and unkept and many of the rooms have boards up in place of windows. Upon entering my room, I already see the burn holes in the sheets and the wall and a strong smell of cigarette smoke. I checked for bed bugs (I think I know how to check) but didn't see any indication of the that. The floors were also NOT carpet, which is nice, because I can wipe down with Clorox sanitizing wipes. You WILL want to do this here. The bed was super worn, but honestly, still better than sleeping on the super firm mattress in the back of my car. The shower actually worked...another plus, and it seemed to drain properly. Tub was super worn, nasty cracks in the wall AND the towels were DIRTY! I mean obviously dirty, like that had literal dirt on them. Good grief man, it's like you can't even try to be this bad, somehow they achieve it. TV is a smaller 32", but had a remote with no batteries and no backing. Took up front for more batteries and she gave me another remote also with no back cover, but it did have batteries! Unfortunately it didn't work, however, it was a universal remote so I just used trusty Google and reprogrammed it to the TV. I had some valuables I did not feel comfortable leaving in the car so I took them with me to a local brewery to get some work done and write this review. Tbh, I am contemplating not even staying here and just getting another hotel, but haven't decided yet. There is no way, the are rated this highly, so hopefully you do your due diligence instead of just going by how many stars something is just like me. Oh also, there is a huge sign on the front desk that says "no refunds." Guess they get this often! I will not ask for a refund tho, because it was my fault in finding something so cheap and not waiting to view the place before booking, but honestly I think all these reviews are fake!!! As I am writing this, I have decided to check out
