Firstly, this location is beautiful and is a great upgrade from the old Highland Park Y.
But, the weight room is kind of a joke. There is not a lot of room and not enough equipment at peak hours.
I am all for a gym that encourages the younger crowd to work out, but my god there were so many of them during after school hours hogging the benches and machines. I understand that they can get certified to work out in the gym as young as 10, but it didnt seem that there was any staff ensuring that the kids there were allowed to be there. I could imagine someone getting hurt because of that.
So, I decided not to become a member.
